The Opportunity:

We're hiring our first People & Culture hire! We're looking for a HR guru who lives and breathes fast growing companies. You'll be responsible for recruitment, career development, performance reviews and keeping our remote-first culture vibrant at Nexl. This role reports to the Chief of Staff. We are looking for someone who has worked in the HR/People function of a technology company and is excited to leverage AI to build and scale a HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment: Drive talent acquisition strategies, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring we attract top talent for our fast-growing team.
  • Design and implement career development: Create structured growth paths, training programs, and mentorship opportunities to nurture and retain high-performing employees.
  • Oversee performance review cycles: Develop data-driven performance metrics and feedback frameworks to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Champion remote-first culture: Build engagement strategies and cultural initiatives that unite and motivate a globally distributed team
  • Leverage AI-driven HR solutions: Identify and deploy innovative technologies that streamline HR processes, improve employee experience, and support scalable growth.

    The Work Culture at Nexl:

    • Highly transparent with fortnightly (twice a month) all-company meetings - with direct insight into team updates, customer stories, hiring plans and key metrics (NPS, Revenue, Financial Performance).
    • You will be part of the Operations team, but you will also be exposed to and working directly with multiple departments - engineering, product, design, marketing and sales.
